Image Courtesy of Morean Auctions. Shonk tray - though there is another version of this tray used by Bartels and it has many of the hallmarks of a Shonk tray, we are unaware of any other uses of the image either as trays or other advertising pieces, therefore we designate as Not Stock. |

From the Collection of Daryl Ziegler. Shonk tray - as the one above this tray has many of the hallmarks of a Shonk tray, we are unaware of any other uses of the image either as trays or other advertising pieces, therefore we designate as Not Stock. This tray is believed to be younger than the one above as SS Dish trays were later to the production offerings than the plate styles. |

From the Collection of Mike Bartels. Kaufmann & Strauss tray that is kind of famous for an obvious last minute addition of an 'S' to the 'Bartel' on the tray. Most likely there was an uncomfortable meeting with Bartels and K&S when the error was noted and possibly a discount for the purchase. |

From the Collection of Mike Bartels. Either a stock tray or a tray used by several brewers in some type of a campaign. There are six known versions of this art by Herbert Bonhert. All from NY - Bartels, Greater NY Brewery, Inc., Fidelio and McSorley's versions. This tray was for the NYC market, however local experts believe the connection to Bartels was to the PA Bartels Brewery versus NY. Please contact us if you have more information. |
