The Indianapolis Brewing Co. is a bit  more complex than our other By Brewer postings, as it is really the merger of three Indianapolis breweries:  C.F. Schmidt Brewing Co., Casper Maus Brewery & P. Lieber Brewing Co., City Brewery.  Trays are a bit difficult to align directly with one branch or the other, but we have done our best using the dates known.  We have included all three AB-II listings to ensure each's lineage is accurately noted as a part of their joint history.

 Comments:

Image Courtesy of Morean Auctions.  The beer contest medals on the tray are from 1900 & 1904, therefore the tray is no earlier than 1904.  This is a large format tray, inches bigger than the normal 16.5" x 13.5" trays typically made during this time frame.

 Comments:

From the Collection of Mark Rogers.  Branding on the tray notes St. Louis Grand Prize for 1904 and Gold Medals from Paris and Belgium for 1905, therefore the tray is no earlier than 1905.
