From the Collection of Mark Rogers. Fantasy piece that appears to be a Meek & Beach tray that has been professionaly painted over with Sir John Falstaff. We share it here as it is extremely well done, but not a factory original item. A great piece that would have made a highly desirable tray if original. Area experts are not aware of the story of its creation. If you know more, please contact us. |

From the Collection of Joel Gandt. There are three known versions of the Lemp sunburst tray. It is hard to see in digital pictures, but from the logo in the center there are 360 degree lines leading out at various lengths from the center in a star/sunburst pattern. The black version is seen much more often than the green and silver versions. Not sure on exact dates, so we have pretty broad range noted here based on K&S production time window. If you have a more precise date estimates, please contact us. |

Courtesy of Morean Auctions. The green version of the logo design sunburst tray. Note: there is a 12" and 13" of the green design. Silver and black are only known as 12." The tray pictured here is the 13" version. Local experts indicate the 12" green is seen less often than the 13" version. Please send us a picture of the 12" version if you have one. |

From the Collection of Mark Rogers. Note this tray is from East St. Louis, which is across the Mississippi River from the original brewery in downtown St. Louis. It is often confused as pre-pro, but it is from the late 1930's or early 1940's. We are looking for years of operations for the Novelty Advertising Co. of Coshocton, OH, which might help us to further hone the date. If you know more, please contact us. |
