From the Collection of Daryl Ziegler. Extremely rare Chas. W. Shonk tray. We are very interested to understand the relationship between the Metz Bros. Brewing Co. and the Metz Brewing Co., both in Omaha. The pre-prohibition company ownership of Metz Brewing Co. comes from the Willow Springs Brewing Co. and not Metz Bros. Brewing Co. The Metz name comes to that branch post prohibition, so there is certainly a high probability there is a connection of the Metz Bros. assuming control of the Willow Springs branch. Here is a link to the Willow Springs and Metz Brewing Co. By Brewer details page. |
