From the Collection of Mark Rogers. Very popular tray as a cross-collectible item. See some documentation secured by Chad Campbell that helps to tell the story of Dr. Seuss and his involvement with the Narragansett Brewing Co. and this great tray.
Regional experts indicate this tray was released by the brewery in the 1940's, which is inconsistent with the note below. But when an artist completes work and when it is used by the brewer, is certainly often not the same. |
