From the Collection of John Demczyszyn. The Meek Co. stock tray No. 85, "Griselda." Manufacturing notes & sales catalogs indicate this stock image was used from 1907 to 1912. Date discrepancies are attributed to American Art Works using up excess stock templates after they changed names from The Meek Co. This was very common and we even see examples with one version having Meek manufacturing marks and others having AAW marks. Some examples even say "American Art Works, successors to the Meek Co.
