Comments: Here is a great tray, which is highly sought after by collectors. This is one of two Red Fox Spinner trays. This one is the Ale version, the other states "Ale - Beer". I am not sure if one is harder to come by than the other, but as each of them go on eBay, if they are in nice shape, they bring big bucks. I tried to secure a "Beer - Ale" version and was outbid big time. This tray is known as a Spinner, because there is a little dent in the middle of the face of the tray. The idea is to spin the tray on a pointed object and you are able to see the fox run around the inside of the rim. If you can get it to stay on the dent it works pretty well. Straub's indicates the "Beer - Ale" tray is newer and was made by American Art Works versus The H.D. Beach Co. Logos, look pretty much identical. A cool tray for sure. | ||
