Comments:FLASHBACK!!! Growing up in San Antonio in the late 1970's, I have seen a couple hundred of these babies. Before Corona imitated Miller High Life (my assumption) and put their cerveza in a clear bottle, this is what you would see. Short, ugly, brown bottles. I think the lime thing came from the fact many of the Mexican beers were so rough tasting you had to add a little lime to mask the flavor. We used to buy these babies cheap. Once they got the yuppie clear bottle and almost cult status (thanks to all of the Parrot Heads and Yuppie wanna-b's), price went up and up. A true marketing coup for Grupo Modelo. I must say I do like my Corona's and Mexican beers in general. WOW, all that and I did not say anything at all about the tray. Well this one is not all that common. Matter of fact, I had never even seen it until I snagged this one on e-Bay.
