Comments: One of four Rheingold Cartoon trays from the 1930's (as far as I know there are only 4). Hit this link to see a nice view of all four from the series. There are other Cartoons from the same artist on coasters which I have seen, but I have not seen any other trays. I will keep looking however. The artist was O. Soglow, who had a comic strip called The Little King. Lore on this tray is it is much tougher to find than the other three because of the subject matter. It may have even been pulled. A very tough tray. I would like to upgrade this one, but I bet it is quite a while before I am able to. | ||
