Comments: One of four Rheingold Cartoon trays from the 1930's (as far as I know there are only 4). Hit this link to see a nice view of all four from the series. There are other Cartoons from the same artist on coasters which I have seen, but I have not seen any other trays. I will keep looking however. The artist was O. Soglow, who had a comic strip called The Little King. There are two variations on this tray. This version and another 12" which has a closer up view of the comic strip panel. Unless you have them side by side, you would not even notice. I found out when I was trying to decide which one I was going to keep and which was going to go on the For Sale Page. | ||
