thinking of Bowling whenever I hear the name Brunswick. I am assuming there is
a connection between the city and the company or something, but I have no clue.
This tray is certainly a candidate for upgrade. I have only seen one other to
date and it was in worse shape than this one. As soon as I say this one is hard
to find (based on my experience always), three of them will pop up on eBay. I
hope so then I can update these ramblings, add a nice new picture and sell the
old one. Let me know about the Brunswick connection if there is
one? Crap - I was hoping there is was a connection, but alas a site visitor has provided us with the following (Thanks RMB): "I live in New Brunswick, NJ, and there is no connection to the Brunswick bowling company. It first became a settlement in 1681 under a different name, and in the early 1700's the name (New Brunswick) was adopted in honor of the House of Brunswick (England)." |
