Comments: This is a very attractive tray. This is a must for any serious collection. This is a very common tray, which is of the highest quality you will see in common trays. There are two 12" round version of this tray. This one with the straight sides and an inverted pie version. There is also an oval version of this tray. Well I thought this tray had some Jewish symbolism to it, but I was informed the double triangle star was known as the "Brewer's Star", with each point of the star representing the six aspects of brewing most critical to purity: the water, the hops, the grain, the malt, the yEast, and the brewer. Go here to see more on the six-point brewers star. This is a great looking tray. Sincere "Thanks" to Greg in N.Y. for leading me in the right direction on the six-sided star. | ||
