Comments: Picked this one up early in the 2nd phase of my collecting. I went to an antique store in Columbia, WI and there was a stall with hundreds of beer trays I had never seen before. It was horrible and wonderful all at the same time. I wanted to by all of them. I thought they were so fascinating. I had a few, but these were ones I had seen for years before I bought them. Now I am faced with so much visual stimulation I can barely stand it. These babies obviously appeal to me or I would not have 900+ or am I over 1,000 now. I will not know until I get caught up with the adds to the site. Wow that was a ramble. Anyhow I picked this one up shortly after I had the out of body experience in Columbia. I am especially fond of this tray as I lived in Muscatine, IA for several years and the Quad Cities was a common destination. Blackhawk is still a famous name in Davenport. There is even a very popular hotel still using the name. I need an upgrade on this one. I was going after a near mint one until it was well over $200 bucks. Oh well, I will get one sometime. | ||
