Comments: Let's just say there were advantages to being on eBay in 1997 and there were disadvantages. I got a lot of great deals before it got to be so popular, but this tray is an example of a big ouch. I paid more than double what this tray is worth, due to having no clue they were so plentiful. I bid like a crazy man thinking it was a rare one. Now two or three a day complete on eBay in a week and maybe even a day (I have not really been watching them). I even remember some guy selling one on eBay in 1998 saying his brother worked for the art department which did the Rolling Rock Trays and there were only a handful (three I think he said) of this tray with the green and the blue. It lasted about 2 days on eBay before somebody turned him in and it was gone. Not cancelled - GONE! So I eluded to it this tray comes in a green and blue version and and all blue version. I have not seen it in all green, but who knows. It is a sharp tray. I only know of two Rolling Rock tray types. This style and the portrait 12". If there are any others, please e-mail and a photograph would be appreciated. | ||
