Comments: What a fabulous tray! I was contacted by the nicest couple. They indicated they were looking into an estate item so they could price it for their garage sale. I just about choked when I read their e-mail. I could see this nice couple selling this tray for $35 or something and some antique shop owner picking it up and placing a ridiculous price on it. The shop owner would make all of the value on this great tray and this nice couple would have been taken advantage of big time. I contacted a friend who is quite knowledgeable about Montana stuff and he gave me some ideas on value. Seems these trays can go very high if you get the right combination of bidders. I past on what I knew about the tray and its value and offered to buy if they were still interested in selling. I think we came to a very fair agreement and I am thrilled to have this awesome tray in my collection. My Montana friend indicates there is a similar 12" version of this tray too.
