Picked this one up at an ABA show in Dallas while I was visiting my sister. Woo
Hoo - David B. e-mailed me with the answer to the question "What the heck does
the '92' stand for?" "The '92 stands for 1892 when John Oertel bought out his partners in the Butchertown Brewery. Upon the repeal of Prohibition, John Oertel wanted to remind customers that he had been brewing since 1892 so the brewery created the Oertels '92 brand and trademark in 1933." Thanks David - there were a bunch of us wondering. |
