Comments: This Goebel tray has a few interesting points. There is a calendar on this particular tray, however I have seen the same tray, same brewery, without the calendar pages. I would bet this is a stock tray, as many of these blue trays were used by several breweries. Yet to confirm this. There are several different blue trays, with the same type of high detail. All the ones I am aware of have Dutch people in them and they are usually children. There is also a group of blue trays which represent Piligrims. Schmidts is the most common with an oval. There is also a 12" round version depicting Plymoth Rock Landing which was used by a couple of different breweries. A neat looking tray. I did not like these blue ones at first, but they are growing on me. I belive these blue trays are some times refered to as "delft", which is more commonly heard in reference to china.
